Just thinking about our bi-weekly Meetup group that I started and every week gets more exciting! Though we’ve had 2 12 70 le join we only had 4 of us there tonight and 1 who “zoomed in” from Tomahawk through our live feed.
The cool thing about these meetup groups is that everyone who comes has a common interest…in this group ou/r mission is to become a business collaborative and work together to further each others respective businesses. Tonight I showed people how to put together simple videos using Zoom and Windows Movie Maker.
Some people don’t collaborate because they fear competition or that they have nothing in common but working together is about considering the other person and helping them move forward which in turn will help your business grow as well. There are people in my meetup that have very different and some would say conflicting missions and goals but this is about finding the good in everyone and helping that to be even better.

BARB STUTTGEN, Financial Planner is my partner in developing this meetup group and we just scheduled our first Women’s Retreat on Discovering Your Passion and Living Your Dreams that will be held at Barb’s beautiful home between Stratford and Marshfield, WI on October 22nd and 23rd. Watch for registration to come later this week. I still have to edit our Faucet of HOPE Show but this is the other commercial I did for her “What Do Women Want” Workshop that she offers for FREE and will also be posted here. Angi Keeley was the 2nd person to join the group and has been more than an answer to prayer!! Angi’s dream was to have her own web design company and mine was to finally be able to launch my business with a functional website that looked professional which I still did not have! Being the career counselor that I am I asked Angi for her portfolio and she didn’t have one because she couldn’t use the websites she had designed for the company she worked for to showcase so she had to start from scratch! And that she did by building me a brand new site!! I threw her a curve ball and had her do an affiliate program, a store and a membership program which was more than she had on her agenda but it has been great and we have both learned alot!! Jason Breitenfeld joined my coaching program and my Meetup Group in May of this year and he already has his book in the works and has developed his website, Facebook profile, LinkedIn and twitter sites and is managing them with Hootsuite. He has learned how to record and edit videos and we are on the roll with setting up our first big launch for our Coaching and Training Programs.
