I’ve been trying to come up with a title for my new book and it’s been a challenge to encapsulate what problem I think I can solve for people but saving money always seems to be the big excuse for why things aren’t getting done so that’s got to be the grabber.
I think about the trillions and trillions of dollars spent on alcohol and substance abuse, criminal justice systems, social services, social security disability, unemployment, mental illness, child abuse, educational failures and all the other “social” things that cost our government money and it is beyond what most of us can fathom. This amazing up to date state and federal spending website will give you a clue about just how devastating it is. (click the picture to go to the site.)
I am writing a book about “normal” because our society has everyone stuffed in the proverbial box of “normal”and whether it is at home, at school or at work, we are destroying the divine unique gifts every person has to offer the world by comparing them to others and putting standards and values on who they are, what they do, how fast they do, when they do it etc. If their performance doesn’t live up to what some “expert” (who is obviously NOT normal) decided would be good enough, then they will miss out on so many things we can’t even begin to list them but most importantly, they will be without a sense of value and hope for the future.
Until we learn to help people discover meaning, purpose and how to meet their basic needs by doing what they are created and love to do we will continue to see negativity, abuse, crime, addictions, suicide and so much more.
Every person I talk to, every thing that I write, every workshop I do and every song that I sing is about providing hope so you can rest assured that you will get my 4 Life Saving and World Changing Secrets to HOPE at any event that you come to or any coaching you receive.
