Margie Elliott- Where Hands Meet Hearts so Parents Can Help Parents

Margie Lynn Elliott had a dream once she became a single parent in her 40’s struggling to make ends meet for her daughter Nevaeh,  she had an idea and has been working for the last several years to make happen for others what she needed as a single parent.  So she created “Parents Helping Parents-Where Hands Meet Hearts”  and her efforts just earned her the Jefferson Award from Channel 9 in Wausau, Wisconsin for those who are contributing great things to their communities!

Margie has not had things easy in life. I met her over 35 years ago and have watched her come into her purpose in life. She knows that God has a plan for her life and she intends to do it until her dying day.  I have watched her  Facebook group change lives in a powerful way.  Someone will post a need like a car seat, or diapers or gas for their car to get to work and within minutes someone is offering to meet that need. It is astounding and nothing short of a gift from God.

This group and starting a free daycare is what she knows she is intended to do but we all need help to do our jobs. Right now Margie needs the basics like a reliable internet service and a phone  Having team mates is also important if she is going to reach her goals.

This is how she describes her organization that she is working to get certified as a 501 c3 non profit.  Margie’s larger dream is to start a totally free daycare center for low income parents.  If you can help Margie to move this organization forward either by volunteering to be on the board or to manage her Facebook service site  please contact Margie through the Facebook page, or perhaps you can offer a monetary donation to pay for getting the non-profit paperwork and administrative costs to get things started. **THIS IS A GIVING GROUP ONLY** “NO SELLING” Hello Parents I wanted to create this group for us to unite together as Parents to support one another. To help each other succeed to be the best Parents we can be to our children. We are located in Central Wisconsin and offer help in Marathon county and surrounding counties. There are times we ALL need help but feel like there is no one to help us. That’s where we want this group to come in. We need to count on someone and who better to count on than other Parents. Allot of times there is nowhere to turn and that is why we should turn to each other to help one another. We all have appointments errands and plenty to do as Parents. Some of us don’t have vehicles or childcare when needed for important appointments, like W2 or Doctors’ appointments or school. So how about we ALL work together to be successful. I know I need help with certain things in my life but I also want to help others with what they need to get done too. None of us have a lot of money but what we do have is time and our heart to give to one another. So I have invited you to this group if you’re willing to be a part of this GREAT if not just cancel being a member and no feelings will be hurt. But if you stay that’s your word to us and the other Parents you are willing to give whatever you can to the other Parents to help them succeed. Now what this Group is “NOT” is a Group of gossip, drama, arguing, or problems. No talking bad about each other at all. We are ALL in this Parenting thing together.
