I know it’s hard to even fathom starting a sobriety challenge (from whatever overindulgence you struggle with) during the holidays but do we really want to come out at the end of the next week or two with the statistics of more suicides, drunk driving deaths and injuries, family fights and violence, arrests etc? Maybe alcohol or drugs aren’t a problem but addiction is addiction and how many of us are eating ourselves to death? Just sayin’ …
I wrote this Ebook to give you 7 suggestions and resources that helped me to stay sober these last 26 years and drug free for 46 years. I weigh 20 pounds less than I did when I started being more health conscious and life is good. Here are the chapters in the Ebook.
1) What’s the Problem? Getting Sick of Insanity
2) Is There Any HOPE? Enough is Enough
3) I Give Up! When all Else Fails-Surrender
4) One Day at a Time Facing Wine-O-Clock
5) But I Don’t Want To Play it to The End
6) From Mess to Success Starting Over
7) Keep it Going You Can’t Do it Alone
8) The Rest of Your Life Resources
Last year’s 7 day sobriety challenge was a huge success and people’s lives were changed. We all know times when holidays were ruined because someone got drunk or high and I want to prevent, even 1 family from going through the pain of it all.
I am offering recordings of 9 of last years speakers and we will have speakers this year from December 23rd to January 1st to get people through the holidays with daily inspiration and encouragement. If you are reading this at some other time it is not too late…. you can take the challenge anytime and hook up with those of us who are in recovery.
The majority of people don’t give a whole lot of thought to why we celebrate Christmas to begin with but if we did, we might have a little more mindfulness about how we are living our lives. Jesus came that we might be able to live a good, wholesome, healthy, long fruitful life doing what we were created to do and there is a lot of instruction in the Good Book (the Bible) that gives us the way out.
Whether you are celebrating Christmas, Hanukah or anything else, do so with care and love. If you or someone you know needs help please go to
